Common questions about working with us

If you don't see your question here, our engineering team is happy to walk through your specific application by phone or email.

How quickly will I receive a quote?

Most quote requests are returned within one business day. Complex multi-process jobs — such as a 5-axis electropolish followed by passivation and Ra certification — typically take 48 hours so we can confirm chemistry and inspection capacity.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For prototype or short-run work we accept orders as small as a single part, with a one-time setup fee. Production runs are most cost-effective starting around 50 parts, but we'll quote anything you send over.

Do you handle parts that arrive with machining or fabrication damage?

Yes. Light surface refinement is included in most quotes. For deeper weld discoloration, grinding marks, or scratch repair we offer a separate restoration step, quoted per part after visual inspection.

Can you meet FDA, ASME, or aerospace documentation requirements?

We routinely provide Certificates of Conformance, material traceability, passivation logs, and Ra measurement reports. We're audit-ready for ISO 9001, and our chemistry and inspection records are retained for seven years.

Is my design protected if I send drawings?

Absolutely. We execute mutual NDAs before any technical review and restrict access to your files to the engineers assigned to your project. We never reproduce, share, or retain your geometry beyond the active job.
